The Senior Project Officer, Community Transition supports delivery of the Victorian Government’s commitments in response to the Great Outdoors Taskforce and Eminent Panel for Community Engagement’s advice on the future of Victoria’s state forests.

The role will contribute to identifying future nature based tourism opportunities that enhance visitor experiences and support regional vitality

Projects, supported by strong relationship building skills to establish and maintain effective partnerships with internal stakeholders and external delivery partners. It will lead the delivery of complex projects drawing on expertise in collaboration, change management, and systems thinking within a dynamic and evolving environment.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable – stakeholder engagement, relationship management, facilitation, and tourism development.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in developing and delivering policies, programs, and projects that engage a diverse range of stakeholders.

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2028. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
