The Project Officer, Community Transition supports delivery of the Victorian Government’s commitments in response to the Great Outdoors Taskforce and Eminent Panel for Community Engagement’s advice on the future of Victoria’s state forests.
Working within the Transition and Partnerships Branch, you will contribute to identifying future nature-based tourism opportunities that enhance visitor experiences and support regional vitality. It will lead and support stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and project management to inform future land planning and management of state forests.
This is an opportunity to contribute your strategic analysis and systems thinking skills, experience delivering projects with diverse stakeholders, and the ability to collaborate with others to deliver shared outcomes.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in developing and delivering policies, programs, and projects that engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2027. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
