The Project Officer is part of a high performing team that provides critical project and advisory services across the department and within the DEECA Recovery Coordination and Coastal Operations branch. You support and undertake activities to comply with whole of government and Commonwealth requirements including provide high-level advice, coordination, and project support. You will coordinate across DEECA, portfolio agencies and other land managers to report on delivery of coastal and emergency recovery programs and activities. You will also support engagement and governance processes that will involve a diverse stakeholders from government and the emergency management sector.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
Desirable:
- A good understanding of government policies and strategies relating to coasts or emergency management, combined with a sound knowledge of government processes and public administration
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
