The Program Manager Strategy and Stakeholder Partnerships (SPP) ensures successful delivery of a strategic stakeholder partnerships plan for the region, aligned to the DEECA Community Charter, that supports regional communities to connect with and contribute to government priorities, anticipating and mitigating stakeholder issues at place. The role works collaboratively with Traditional Owner Corporations, local government and other key community stakeholders to provide stakeholder and issues management support to regional teams, statewide portfolios and DEECA Groups to implement DEECA priorities in the region.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (desirable)
- Experience leading projects requiring significant stakeholder relationship management and partnerships, ideally in the region (desirable)
- Knowledge of the regional context and opportunities (desirable)
- Well-developed written and verbal strategic communication skills (desirable)
- Experience supporting stakeholder engagement planning for government initiatives (desirable)
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Hume Region with hybrid work arrangements available.
