The Operational Program Support Officer is a key enabler of district and regional success, delivering vital corporate, administrative and business support that helps teams achieve strong outcomes. Embedded within the district as a regional resource, this is a varied and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a real impact across a broad range of priorities.
You’ll work as part of a team, on projects and important administrative tasks under direction of the Regional Leadership Team to support the delivery of priority programs across the portfolios of the district (Planning, Operational delivery, Operational Planning, Emergency Preparedness, Community Engagement)
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Understanding of budget management principles and tracking is desirable.
- Knowledge of Forest Fire Management Victoria and partner agency priorities is desirable.
- Knowledge of government processes, office administration and Microsoft Officer programs is desirable.
This is a fixed term position until 2 May 2027. The work location for this position is Heywood with hybrid work arrangements available.
