VWR Evolve Test Lead

Lead quality assurance for the Victorian Water Register (VWR) Evolve program, a major digital uplift of a critical statewide system supporting water entitlements, markets and resource management.

You will drive the end-to-end testing strategy, oversee vendor-delivered testing, and provide assurance to senior governance forums on system quality and production readiness.

Key skills:

  • Extensive QA/Test Lead experience on complex enterprise programs
  • Strong data migration, integration and UAT testing expertise
  • Experience with Agile delivery and tools such as Azure DevOps/Jira

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Demonstrated, extensive experience as a QA/Test Lead, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience delivering testing outcomes for complex enterprise systems in large organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the development, execution and governance of Master Test Plans and Quality Plans across complex programs, covering Unit, System, Regression, Integration, System Integration, UAT, Data Migration, Performance, Security, Accessibility, Penetration, Cutover, Production Verification, Backup & Recovery and Disaster Recovery testing.
  • Extensive experience establishing and leading testing infrastructure, including testing methodologies, frameworks and tools such as Confluence, Jira and X Ray, with testing embedded in Agile, Hybrid and DevSecOps delivery environments.
  • Proven hands-on experience planning, executing and reporting on testing and quality activities, including presenting outcomes, risks and metrics to Senior Leadership and Program Control Boards (PCB).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure and PowerBI and familiarity with software test automation tools (Katalon).
  • Demonstrated experience in API testing across integrated systems.
  • Extensive experience leading and collaborating with third party delivery partners to deliver fit for purpose quality assurance outcomes and metrics.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 September 2028. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
