The Senior Risk Adviser is a lead subject matter expert (SME) in in the planning, design, implementation and management of the risk management function of Solar Victoria.
The Risk business unit is responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of the organisation’s strategic, operational and project risks, providing support and guidance to respond to internal audits and to oversee the fraud detection and prevention program.
The Senior Risk Adviser will work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team to develop and deliver risk identification and mitigation strategies, provide timely advice, briefings, and reports along with providing SME guidance on the management of strategic, project, and operational risk for internal and external stakeholders.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Demonstrated experience working within enterprise or project risk management, preferably in a safety or regulatory environment
- Strong knowledge and application of risk management tools and frameworks
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications in risk management or a related discipline
This is a fixed term position available until 11 November 2027. The successful candidate can select a base of either our Melbourne or Morwell office, hybrid work arrangements are also available.
