The Senior Policy Officer will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that leads the design and delivery of government policies and programs that support the climate resilience of Victoria’s agriculture industries, with a focus on drought preparedness. The successful applicant will have proven experience in policy design, program coordination and reporting. They will have strong analytical skills and experience in preparing verbal and written policy and program advice for government and a range of internal and external stakeholders. This position is well suited to a highly motivated professional with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagements skills.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • A relevant tertiary degree would be well regarded, as would experience in agriculture, climate policy or other related area.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
