Senior Policy Officer, Biodiversity Policy

This position sits within the Biodiversity Policy Branch. As the Senior Policy Officer you will provide expert, authoritative and timely policy advice on statewide regulatory policy settings for wildlife and biodiversity; undertake consultation across government and with external stakeholders; and manage work programs and deliverables for complex policy projects within tight timelines.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Experience in undertaking complex policy analysis and providing high level policy advice is desired.
- High level knowledge, skills and experience with policy analysis and advice is desired.
- Experience undertaking engagement with stakeholders across government, industry and the community on complex policy issues is desired.
- A well-developed understanding of Victorian Government policy processes is desired.
- Tertiary qualification(s) in a relevant field are desired.
This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 Months. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
