The Senior Application Support Analyst provides system administration and business analyst support for the department’s corporate finance applications such as, Axiom, Zycus and Figtree. The role also provides business analysis across the Enterprise Support Services team including HCM applications. The key tasks for the position include providing analytical support for incidents raised via the IT service management system, day to day management of the Axiom, Zycus and Figtree applications such as user account management, integration monitoring and participation on development, change and release activities. The position identifies and progresses continuous improvement opportunities and participates in project tasks and activities.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Specialist experience as a functional and technical lead in the administration and support of at least two of the following Axiom, Zycus, or Figtree.
- Experience in engaging business SMEs to facilitate the gathering of business requirements and the documentation of requirements to articulate business needs to technical resources.
- Extensive experience in managing vendors or third-party providers to ensure service levels and the needs of the department are being met by the external provider.
- Extensive experience in stakeholder and relation management with the ability to negotiate and influence successful outcomes for benefit of all parties.
- Good understanding of corporate business processes in finance, HCM and fleet.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the system development lifecycle to support changes to applications.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is Melbourne CBD with hybrid work arrangements available.
