An exciting opportunity exists to join Agriculture Victoria as a Senior Advisor Workforce, Culture and Capability.
This role is being offered as a 12-month fixed-term opportunity. It provides a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leaders across Agriculture Victoria to provide advice, analysis and coordination to support informed decision-making, business continuity and workforce performance.
In this role you will:
- Lead workforce planning, reporting and workforce analytics activities.
- Provide workforce insights, recommendations and advice to senior executives.
- Coordinate high-profile recruitment, workforce and procurement approval processes.
- Deliver employee engagement, recognition and organisational improvement initiatives.
- Support the review and improvement of workforce policies, systems and processes.
- Develop reports, briefing materials and executive-level workforce information.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Agriculture Victoria and DEECA.
We're seeking an experienced workforce professional who can combine strategic thinking with practical delivery.
The successful candidate will bring:
- Experience analysing workforce data and translating insights into meaningful advice.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in complex organisational or public sector environments.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a focus on delivering outcomes.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience analysing workforce data and translating insights into strategic advice and recommendations.
This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
