Are you an experienced safety and governance professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a commitment to continuous improvement?
Reporting to the Manager Safety and Strategic Site Coordination, the Senior Advisor Safety and Governance plays a key role in supporting Agriculture Victoria’s group-level safety and wellbeing functions. The role provides high-level advice and coordination across a range of safety and governance activities, acting as a central point of contact for Agriculture Victoria and corporate stakeholders.
You will support the identification, escalation and resolution of safety matters, while contributing to strategic safety and wellbeing outcomes across the group. The role also supports the Agriculture Victoria Group Safety and Wellbeing Consultative Committee, including implementation of the Committee’s Terms of Reference, development of targeted communications, and preparation of reporting on safety trends, risks and emerging issues to inform decision-making.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Relevant experience in the delivery of safety and wellbeing programs, projects or initiatives would be well regarded.
This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2027. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
