The Project Officer will support the preparation of policy documentation, correspondence and advice to assist in progressing statewide threatened species, invasive species and biodiversity outcomes. The role will contribute to policy development in the team, participate in engagement with related groups and portfolios, and support delivery of agreed actions and reporting on progress. The Project Officer will be skilled in the Microsoft Office suite and will produce clear, accurate and timely documentation and correspondence for and on behalf of the team and the Biodiversity Policy Branch.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Understanding of Victorian Government policy processes is desired.
- Tertiary qualification(s) in a relevant field are desired.
- Skills in GIS and spatial analysis are desired.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
