Project Officer - Climate and Water Resources

As the Project Officer – Climate and Water Resources, you will support the delivery and application of research projects on climate change and water resources. You will draw on your strong technical background and water sector experience, along with excellent communication skills to build effective stakeholder relationships.
Working within a collaborative team, you will contribute to improving understanding of how climate change, climate variability, and catchment processes affect Victoria’s water resources; and support their integration into policy, planning and practice.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in science, engineering, natural resource management or other relevant disciplines that relate to hydrology, water resources and/or climate science is required.
  • Previous water sector experience is highly desirable.

This is a fixed term position available until 05 February 2027. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
