Project Officer, Support to Comply

The Project Officer, Support to Comply supports delivery of the Support to Comply – Extending Benefits project, contributing to the development and implementation of guidance, policies and procedures for industry and regulators.  The Project Officer supports Resources Victoria’s transition to a duty-based framework under the Minerals Resources (Sustainable Development) Amendment Act 2023.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, practical and user-friendly outputs.
  • Experience working with stakeholders, including managing feedback and concerns, ideally with an understanding of regulatory or earth resources environments. 
  • Shows initiative, sound judgement and a willingness to learn, share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement.  

This is a fixed term position available until 31 March 2027. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
