The Program Manager, Permissions Reform drives and coordinates reform of the use of licences, permits and authorisations (regulatory permissions) by the Conservation Regulator. The Program Manager, Permissions Reform will ensure a collaborative and intelligence-led approach to improve the way regulatory permissions are administered, making them more efficient, more enforceable (with clear conditions/requirements that can be readily assessed against) and to ensure that regulatory permissions are focussed on the highest environmental risks.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications (in fields including environmental science, social science, business, law, public administration) will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated understanding of regulatory permissions and experience in their administration is essential.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
