Have you ever wanted to share your experience in policy and work on First Peoples Energy policy?
This role works in the First Peoples Energy Policy team and implements operational policies and requires strong analytical and communication skills, along with an ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively in a team environment. You will have a track record of following policy and managing projects, dealing comfortably with ambiguity, and distilling and synthesising complex information in a collaborative team environment.
We’re ideally looking for someone who is happy to speak up in meetings, loves working on policy, has some project management skills, and would enjoy getting experience on First People’s policy initiatives.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Knowledge of Victorian Aboriginal cultures and societies and demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with Aboriginal people to advance their interests.
- Knowledge and experience in working in renewable energy would be highly regarded.
This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2027. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson St, East Melbourne, with hybrid work arrangements available.
