Are you passionate about shaping policy that protects and enhances Victoria’s unique biodiversity? Join our Strategic Biodiversity Policy team as a Policy Officer and play a key role in delivering meaningful environmental outcomes.

In this role, you’ll support the development of high-quality policy advice and documentation that contributes to strategic biodiversity priorities. You’ll work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders to progress evidence-based policy and deliver agreed actions.

About you:
You’re a motivated and organised professional with strong writing skills and attention to detail. You enjoy working collaboratively, building relationships across teams and with stakeholders, and bringing together evidence to support practical policy outcomes. You’re proactive, adaptable and comfortable managing competing priorities, with confidence using the Microsoft Office suite to deliver accurate, high-quality work.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Understanding of Victorian Government policy processes is desired.
  • Tertiary qualification(s) or experience in policy or a relevant field is desired.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
