Are you an emerging policy professional ready to do work that genuinely matters? The regulatory policy and tools team within the biodiversity policy branch is looking for a motivated person to join our close-knit team.

The regulatory policy and tools team delivers highquality policy advice and maintains the regulatory frameworks that guide wildlife and biodiversity management across Victoria.

Our areas of responsibility are diverse and high profile.   Examples of work we deliver are: the Victorian koala management strategy, the kangaroo harvest management plan, and protection of threatened species during duck hunting and reform to regulatory policy settings for wildlife and biodiversity.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in relevant field is desired.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Applications
  • Knowledge of Victorian Government policy is desired.
  • Experience in engagement with stakeholders is desired

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within with hybrid work arrangements available.
