Policy Advisor - Circular Economy Policy

Join DEECA’s Climate Action and Circular Economy Division as a Policy Advisor and help shape Victoria’s approach to circular economy reform and environment protection. In this role, you’ll contribute to high‑quality policy and legislative advice, working closely with colleagues, stakeholders and other jurisdictions on issues of national significance. This is a great opportunity for a motivated policy professional to build experience while making a real impact for Victorian communities. 

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Experience in undertaking policy analysis and providing policy advice is desirable.
  • Experience undertaking engagement with stakeholders on policy issues is desirable.
  • Experience in working on or implementing legislation or regulation is desirable.
  • An understanding of Victorian Government policy processes is desirable.
  • Tertiary qualification(s) in a relevant field are desirable.

This is a fixed term position until 31 January 2027. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
