About the role
The role reports to the Director, Legal and is responsible for:
- Transforming the way the division works by delivering and embedding innovation, improvement and best practice
- Driving implementation and embedding the division’s new matter management system which includes intake, triage and allocation of new work, and the development and streamlining of innovative, automated systems, processes and reporting tools
- Optimising and enabling legal operations performance through improved systems, processes and technology
About you:
- A leader who brings energy and enthusiasm with a track record of delivering results in legal operations
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to influence and build rapport and trust with senior and executive level stakeholders
- Able to create an environment where innovation and creativity are fostered and rewarded with the ability to deliver and embed improvements and transition to them to business as usual
- Strong initiative and ability to deliver tangible business outcomes as a result of critically evaluating problems from multiple perspectives and delivering effective solutions
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree majoring in business administration, business, commerce or law combined with extensive experience
- Demonstrated experience in legal practice management
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience using the full suite of Microsoft 365 tools
- A high level of proficiency in a case management system is also desirable
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is 2 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
