The Manager, Culture and Workforce Strategy lead the design and delivery of workforce strategy, leadership, culture and safety initiatives across Resources Victoria, working closely with the Executive and Senior Leadership Team to provide strategic advice, build leadership capability and implement workforce planning aligned to organisational priorities. The Manager oversees the Resources Victoria safety program, ensuring strong governance, compliance and continuous improvement, and uses stakeholder engagement and data-driven insights to drive workforce and cultural initiatives that support a high-performing, inclusive and safe workplace.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in human resources, organisational development, business, psychology, public administration or a related discipline is mandatory.
- A current valid Victorian driver’s licence is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience leading workforce planning, organisational design and capability development initiatives, including translating strategic priorities into practical workforce strategies in a complex environment.
- Proven experience designing and delivering organisational development or cultural reform initiatives, including applying contemporary change management approaches to achieve sustained behavioural and cultural change.
- Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety frameworks, governance and assurance in the public sector, with the ability to oversee safety programs and drive continuous improvement in culture and compliance.
- Demonstrated experience providing authoritative, evidence based advice to senior leaders, including the preparation of complex, high impact briefs, reports and submissions to inform and influence decision making.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is Melbourne CBD with hybrid work arrangements available.
