Coastal Planning Approval Support Officer

The Coastal Planning and Approval Support Officer provides support services to Coastal Planning and Approvals team and broader Coastal Adaptation and Planning team as required. You will support the team’s delivery of planning and approvals, through the provision of services related to administration, financial management, correspondence and project management. You will use your knowledge of marine and coastal planning and approvals, government systems and processes to ensure timely delivery, visibility of the pipeline of work and support to the team with administrative tasks and improvements as required.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

Desirable:

  • Public administration experience or experience in marine and coastal management, preparing and delivering land use advice and approvals would be advantageous.
  • Skilled in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, SharePoint)

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
