The Bushfire and Emergency Management (BEM) Preparedness Officer will assist with the design and implementation of preparedness arrangements in line with emergency management capability requirements. The BEM Preparedness Officer will be embedded with the district but work as part of the regional team to identify and manage EM capability within the DEECA and FFMVic partner workforcess, supporting equittable rostering and development planning.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Hold a current FFMVic emergency management role, or willing to work towards one.
- Demonstrated experience in emergency management, preferably with good knowledge of preparedness requirements.
This is a part-time fixed term position available until 6 November 2026. The work location for this position is Epsom, working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
