The Senior Advisor has a key role in ensuring the Grampians Region is integrated within the Regions, Environment, Climate Action, and First Peoples (RECAFP Group by building strong collaborative relationships and championing systems and processes that ensure operational effectiveness.

The Senior Advisor will use their influence, organisational insight, and strong relationships with staff across the business to provide high level advice, coordination, strategic policy, business planning and reporting, and project support to the Regional Director, Grampians. This role will work closely with senior leaders to support the delivery of ministerial, whole of government and departmental priorities and commitments.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • High level experience and capability in the management of a diverse range of business functions in a government environment including business strategy and improvement, finance and budget and business planning and reporting. 
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior role providing advice and support to executives and executive management teams on complex issues is essential.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within the Grampians Region with hybrid work arrangements available.
